[SG 2] Low tech AR's

Just a quick straw poll, how many of your Platoons/platoon  designs have

LTAR's versus AAR's versus Gauss Rifles as their standard long gun?

I have designed the PHR and NPC with LTARs, the "Hi-Tech  Mercs",
LLAR/LIRA,
IC and IF with AARs and the NEA plus UNSC with Gauss.

Islamic Fed Guards carries AAR's; the Regulars are transitioning from LTARs to
AARs; the militias have the leftovers.

Ummm, I can't remember.:)

We've got a bunch of TO&Es with associated weapons up on stargrunt.ca, and the
platoons I own of those forces are orgranized according to the
on-line
TO&Es. I only use gauss with the FSE Legionnaires and my NI troopers. Most of
the others have AARs, and I give them underslung GLs depending on whether
they're modeled that way or not (so, the NI have gauss with GL, the FSE have
gauss without).

I don't think I've "officially" given LTARs to anyone, though that varies
depending on scenario. I have 2 platoons painted of the generic merc figures
that get used for whatever I need them to be, and sometimes they

get lower tech equipment.

I use LTAR for one of my nations, and I have another nation that uses
bolt-action rifles... (that and their D4 armour means they have to
arrive in droves with prepared coffins)
