Subject: SF Figures

Here is another question. Given the general interest in Spec Ops evidenced by
many on the list (okay, maybe I'm imagining this...), has anyone thought of
crafting some special spec ops figs for each nation? I know a lot of the time,
the SF guys will be hard to tell from the regs by looking, but I'm thinking of
the guys with silenced carbines and SMGs or the like, or other specialized
weapons systems. It would be kind of cool to start a line like the 'Elite'
line
(SF-25E if we needed a designator) that featured such forces (drop
troops, spec ops, airborne, LRRPs, SEALS, and the like).

Of course, a Minor Powers and Allies line has almost already been started with
Dutch, NI, Mercs, etc. Now all we need are some Ghurkas, some Scots, some
Scandinavians (equipped for artic combat), etc.

The nice thing about crafting figures is once you have the sculpting and the
molds done, you can reintroduce them or restock them on an
as-needed basis (assuming you own int prop rights to them...). Which
is pretty darn great for us buyers.....

I think we've got Scandinavians - as far as the insert to my GZG catalog

sez. The NAC has some beret-wearing troops - could be used for
SpecForces.
I'd like to see more 'Low Intensity' type troops: SWAT (SMGs/Shotguns,
partial armor, helmets, facemasks, the usual police gadgets - guy with a

battering ram, gas grenade launcher, etc); terrorists/gang members -
both
Redneck and Street-Gang types with a mix of weapons - mostly pistols
(not
many pistol-armed figs so far); some 'Suits' guys in suits with pistols,

SMGs, that sort of thing.

These type figures are already produced by GZG, aren't they? I'm referring to
the Street Level figures (terrorists, SWAT team, player characters,
etc.)
listed in the catalog. BTW, these aren't available in the US, are they? Any
chance they will be, KR?

Wow, did I miss those? Sheesh, I see the Scandinavians, miss the
Street-Level guys. Maybe I was running screaming from the Not-Sailor
Moon mins. Anyway, more guys with pistols, please. My ESU garrison force needs
more running-dog criminals to shoot.
