[Semi-OT] Painting HS figures

I just ordered a large batch of GZG Hammer's Slammers in 15mm. Now the
question is how do I paint them?

Standard Uniform is Khaki, but what color is the gear? Brown, black? (or does
synthleather come in any color you want?) Same question for the boots. Do the
White Mice get white gear like modern MP's?

The powerguns are iridium, which is a dull silvery-gray - has anyone
found a suitable out of jar color?  Aluminium? Bolt-gun Black with a
Mithril silver dry brush? What about the rest of the fixtures - Black,
gray or possibly brown (simulated wood?)

Insignia? In the field, HS often did not have visible insignia, but does
anyone have an idea for rank tabs, patches etc?

Visors are silvery with a "static repelling field"; other than silver is there
a color that might add the the "fuzzy" feel for this piece of equipment.
Metallic blue dry brush perhaps?

Why can't they have released the sourcebook yet!
