Just a quick note:

If one is trying to scratchbuild a fleet of alien ships with that icky organic
look, do check out your local sporting goods store.

Already did that.

One thing to remember, though: Fishing lures have a VERY low melting point. Do
NOT leave them in a car on a hot day.

Also, to remove the odor (most are scented), you can soak them for a couple of
days in soapy water. Does not remove all the smell. But removes most of it.

Someone (off list) suggested using 5 minute epoxy on greased, wax paper. Works
great, but is somewhat flat.
