Heya All~
I'm running a demo game, and I need one quick question answered for me:
Once salvo missiles are launched, they lock onto the nearest target.
Does that mean they lock onto the nearest target, -period- or the
nearest -hostile- target. I'm pretty sure this came up on the ML a
while back, but I just want to have it clarified. Thanks!
Nearest hostile ship... If it was nearest ship regardless of whose it is, only
a lunatic would mount
them on his/her ships.

FB1 p9 para1 "if at the END of movement there is an enemy ship within 6" of
the marker (in any direction) then the missiles will attack it; if there is
more than one potential enemy target within 6", then the salvo will go for the
CLOSER of them."
Seems fairly clear to me.

Of course, the definition of "enemy" has been known to change in the course of
a battle...
Nearest target in range of terminal guidance or one shooting at it in aria
defence mode.

Thanks guys~ I didn't think they were such indiscriminate weapons in the first
place, but I just wanted to make sure. As for the definition of "enemy"
well... that's a matter for GHQ to decide:p
Someone said (in horrible evil wicked formatted email instead of
plain-text):

You only see aria defence mode if you're using Opera.

Aria defense mode...
That would involve the chorus girls throwing themselves in front of the
soprano to block incoming shots with their bodies?
Or is that where you shoot people who criticize your opera company?
Sorry, it's 10 'til 6 and I havn't had any sleep in the past *mumble* hours.
Funny, same image I got.
