I was in the local gaming store and just saw a new<?> line of organic ships
for Silent Death (by I.C.E.). They would make great Sa'Vasku ships.
Most would fall in the Escort/Cruiser weight range. Defiantly worth a
look. Designs included worm forms, squid/nautilis forms, and others.

On the side, I just sold a boxed set of the original Dungeons and Dragons
game. But the local hobby store bought it for $60 in credit! (They plan to
sell it for $100). I had it in a garage sale for $1us and it did not
sell! It is time to buy ships! ;-)

Brian If you can get the names, codes, of those Silent Death ships, that would
be handy. I have some old SD ships im painting at the moment, they look like
exotic 'leaves'. Cheers Ian

Actually, Silent Death is still gearing up from the second edition release.

The leaves are the original Night Brood ships (still supported) and the new
models are
more Night Brood ships of a more insectile or urchin-like shape.
Rumours are that a big, escort size grub is being considered. Silent Death is
a fighter game with a hex map, where a medium size fighter is FT cruiser size
and big
fighters/gunboats are
MNicromachine size. Escorts are about 2.5 to 3 inches long, so that'd be one
big bug.

Silent Death minitures are by RAFM. They may not be new (just new to
me).
Here are the ones that are in stock at the local hobby store:
0643 Tiger Moth 35mm Winged Bug (ie. Wasp, fly, etc.)
0644 Worm Pod 35mm Nautilus 0645 Dragonfly 35mm Winged Bug 0646 Muck Worm 25mm
Grub (reminded me of the larval stage of Mothra(TM)) 0647 Snapping Turtle 20mm
Small Exotic Leaf (to borrow Ian's discription) 0648 Nightwing 25mm Medium
Exotic leaf or Blunt Shadow Cruiser

Sizes are approximate. But most of thes are in the Corvette - Light
Cruiser range.
