Umph, not quite - under FB1, it's at the end of the salvo, so you only
make one check no matter how many thresholds you've passed (you just take a
penalty for it). Makes quite a difference to small ships.

I didn't think there was any other way of doing this other than:

Make threshold checks the moment you receive enough damage at any point in the
turn whether it is your go or not. Any damage systems are then out for the
rest of that game turn.

Damage control parties are done as the last action at the end of the turn to
see what you can repair for the following turn.
