Their big, with ok detail, and dirt cheap if you order them over the web
direct from Japan. Currently the price is less then $4 each plus shipping.
There are only 4 different ships. But ships the ships are BIG, so how many
different types do you need? I got my fleet of 4 Battleships, 2 Landing Ships,
2 Command Ships, and 1 Flag Ship for less then $40 DELEVIERED.
The best place to order them is Hobby Link Japan. Their web address is:
http://www.iac.co.jp/~hlj/index.html
They also have a few Starblazer/Yamato ships. Just the Yamato, Yamato
2520, and Andromeda.
$4 US + shipping - I paid $11 US for these things at the store, and I
was happy! Well, back to mail order I go. Hey, you can never have enough BIG
ships, especially if you're the kicka** alien race bent on destruction (or
just scaring the bejeezus out of your opponents when they appear on
table...). Anyway, they're not that big - the Battleship is about SDN
sized, and I've seen people try to put much larger things on the table -
and they had stats for them, as well....

How big are they? :-) Actually, I'm curious as to how big they are.
How long is the battleship?
Thanks,
Of the 2 that I have, the 'Standard Battle Ship' is 11.5 cm long, 4 cm wide at
the widest point (it's a wedge), thickness estimated at 2.5 cm.
The 'Landing Ship Tank' is a cylindrical/cigar hull form, 13 cm long,
2.5
cm wide, and 3 cm thick. They're not overly huge for an FT game -
they're just BIG. The Command & Flag ships may be significantly larger...

Noah,
Thanks. The size works. The Starfleet Wars mini's get up to 15 cm.

Hi Guys,
I have some of both the original and rerelease Zentradi Ship Models. There are
only three differences. The rerelease ones have a c. 50mm fig of one of the
characters from the show, a 15 year logo on the top of the box, and a 15 year
advertisement flier in the box. That's it. There is no difference in design or
quality in the ones I have.
