They may have other ships that look better, but I would suggest that you get a catalog with pictures before ordering them.

I have a couple of them myself and seen all of them painted up on a display stand. They are not the superdetailed ships that you can find in the Full Thrust, Traveller, Silent Death or Babylon 5 lines that are currently available. They harken back to a much simpler era when spaceships were envisioned as being "smoothskinned". That said, I use them mainly for system ships or really early FTL designs. I like the ones I have. The castings were easily cleaned up with very little surface defects (such as pinholes, cracks. etc.). One thing to note is that they are lead miniatures, not the brittle pewter stuff that most of the manufacturers are using today.

As someone else mentioned these ships are from a differant era where spaceships were suspose to be smooth skinned. Also most of them have wings implying that they can fly through an atmosphere so they need to be smooth like airplanes. I don't intend to use them since I feel that most spaceships should not be able to enter the atmosphere. Reviresco c/o John Mc Ewan 1119 San Francisco Ave. NE Olympia, WA 98506

As Tom stated they look atmosphere capable, so they could work well as planetary defense ships or landers, etc. I plan to get some to add to my collection. I think they would fit in well with the old Star Frontiers ships which had similar designs.
