does anyone know of a reliable dealer of Chessex's stuff in the UK? A friend
of mine managed to get a figures box off someone ages ago. It's the
size of a large cigar case and it's /ideal/ for holding an SGII squad or
a few FT minis. Only problem is, I can't find anyone in the UK who can
reliably get hold of them. He's been looking for some more for ages. Chessex
definitely do the as their web site has them listed, but that's US only..

[snip] You're looking for CHX 2860 or 2869 Small Figure Storage Boxes, and you shouldn't have too much trouble finding them, even over there. However, CHX does run out of the things with alarming regularity. The shortage might be due to them being inbetween print runs.

*Sigh* same story my friend has been having from them for oooh the last two
years. They're out of those but they *do* have the luxury ones that hold 3
more figure and cost 30 quid. No thanks..
Anyone know of another source? Unfortunately Chessex Germany won't ship to
private customer, only retailers. Quite what you do when your retailer won't
get them 'cos he's been lumbered with a load of overexpensive alternatives
he's got to get rid of I'm not sure..
