Wargamming vastly improved my ability at maths in my school days, bringing me
up from abysmal to the merely bad. In addition the research I undertook on
numerous backgrounds for games developed my love for history, so much so I
ended up taking a Ancient History and Archaeology degree, which I thoroughly
enjoyed, did extremely well at and realised I did have a talent after all.
