IMHO the Lawgiver is a FP 2 penetration d12 (like a gauss rifle), if the judge
is mounted on bike (don't remember the name) add a d8 to fire dice like a
rocket pack.

Judge Dredd? well where do you start?
Lawgiver Ammo types: General purpose Ricochet Incendiary Armour Piercing
Grenade High Explosive Heat Seeker
Comes with scope and can fire single shot and full auto. Some stat I saw some
where said bullet velocity was 500ft per second if that helps judge (pardon
the pun) effectiveness.
I'll see if I can find other things. Oh don't forget grenades can be stumm gas
(knock out gas)

At the granularity of SGII, the difference between them is pretty trivial if
the caliber is anything that an unmodified human can fire from the hip (which,
IIRC, is the preferred method in the Judge Dredd universe).

Yeah, but I'm going for the FMAS level of play with these. :-) So they
could be represented.

The Lawgiver, the standard Judge's personal weapon, was a *handgun*,
and I don't even remember Dredd even using a two-handed grip... But
then I think it was supposed to be a rocket pistol, like a souped-up
Gyrojet.

FP 1 or 2, Imp d8 or d10, depending on how generous you want to be. Details
about ammo type don't even show up at this level.
