With Missiles both MT and Salvo:

Does the words "within 6mu" mean within a 6mu Radius or a 6mu Diameter? I know
the answers in the archives, but where theer are a # of playtesters whop uses
this list. I hope that he will be happy with this list answer..

Well, technically, it's simply linear, as several lines from 'activation'
point to targets, and select closest, if any, from those 6 mu's or less, but
the area within range describes a circle the radius of which is 6mu's, right?

Well, the rules aren't exactly vague. If you're within 6 mu of the missile
placement, it hits you. For a salvo missile, it will hit the nearest ship
within that radius if there's more than one. That's pretty plainly synonymous
with "radius", not "diameter".
