I ordered the two Full Thrust Fleet Books on May 27, 2004.... Point of
Origin - the UK.

They arrived today, June 1, 2004... Destination - South Carolina, USA.

Jon, you would make millions if you sold your mail order wormhole
technologies... Or you would save mankind by making it publicly available on
the web. LOL!

<Serious> Thanks for the rapid service!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Please note this was after I'd offered a couple of books I'd found in bargain
bins to Wayne; NO WAY could I suggest I'd get them there that quick.

The only problem I have at this point is that, while I'm the one who pointed
out that some delivery times 'suggested contravention of the laws of time and
space', it was Don that named it Wormhole, and I can't claim discovery. Maybe,
in the spirit of collaboration, we can refer to it as the
M-B effect, for Maddox-Beast?

Seems appropriate as a variation of the T-K drive. ;->=

That's faster than the Hammer's Slammers book I ordered from Jon (from 250
miles away)!

;-)

If only things worked the same the other way - I'm sitting here waiting
for AV:T (from AdAstraGames) and Denied to the Enemy (from Pagan Publishing
for CoC). Patience is a virtue, as they say.

For those of you who have been waiting for Power Projection: Fleet to restock,
the new print run has finally been fixed (if you bought one of the first 60
copies at Salute, we've found a glitch on a few diagrams
from the printer - corrected diagrams will be posted on the
powerprojection.net site very shortly. This has now been resolved and the
Warehouse 23 restock will not have this issue. Our apologies if you one of the
few copies with this issue.).

The new run is printed professionally (rather than assembled by BITS) and is a
lot better looking. The cover really stands out as it's a card laminate and a
lot glossier than the original runs. This is the first book that we prepared
this way, so it's a nice feeling.

Cheers,

How about this, to further confuse the public at large we refer to it as the

Beast-Maddox-Wormhole or Jons BMW.......)

Yeah, right..... if I had one of THOSE, then I'd have to start dealing in
crack (or something equally addictive and dangerous to
society, like collectable cards or clicky-base figures.....) ;-)

Then again, I could always just sell the Beemer and then go down to our local
garage, which is the area's only TVR and Noble dealer.... <big petrolhead
grin....>

As Stephen Hawking, almost as an act of faith, has discounted the possibility
of wormholes, probably shouldn't be the person donating a name. What can you
do with Ludwig Flamm? Goedel? Penrose?
