Please explain. Thanks.

Does moving the ship 2 MU's towards the planet when within 6 MU's, and moving
1MU when between 6 and 12 MU's, but not changing the ship's heading, make
sense? It's the way I interpreted the sentence, but I have to admit I haven't
tried plotting any turns using the convention.

(Just butting my nose in if he can't answer right away.)

It depends if you are playing cinematic or vector.

If playing cinematic, I would agree (for simplicity's sake), that it would not
change the heading. Gravity pulls at the whole ship, not just the nose, so it
would not turn the ship, just draw it towards the planet.

If playing vector, I may disagree. Part of it is semantics. If by heading, he
means facing (the direction the nose of the ship is pointing), I would agree.
If heading means course, I would disagree. The couse should be figured from
the starting point to the final end point (after all adjustments).
