Subject: Personal Note and a Dumb Question:

This is John Atkinson posting from Don's e-mail.

First off, someone at PERSCOM hates me. Or at least doesn't want me to attend
any more GZGECCs. It's annoying. Missed the last one by mere weeks, and will
miss this one by mere weeks. My packet for EOD school got approved by DA, with
a report date of 17 Febuary 2002 to the school. It's at Eglin AFB in Florida,
so if there are any list members in that area, drop me a line at my yahoo
address in a couple months.

Anyway, I remember once reading a good little short story entitled Welcome to
Ground Zero, about an encounter between "Space Marines" by Games Crapshop and
NAC Marines. Pretty onesided firefight. Anyway, I can't find the damn thing.
Anyone know where it is, or have a copy archived somewhere?

No, just knew I had the story so I put it up where John/people could get
to it.

May have to go back to KISS principles when I eventually do get Stargrunt.com
up again... I was trying to be too big and too cool...

Is it up now? Hitting that link only gets me the notice that the site is
closed

All I get when I go there is an extra add window and a page saying:

At this time, stargrunt.com is closed. One day it may reopen. Thank you to all
who supported the site.

No no no..:)

Netfirms is actually where stargrunt.com is hosted, however it doesn't seem to
be working for some reason...

I mean, it WORKS, as in you go there and you get the "Sorry we're closed" but
when others tried to go to the Ground Zero story it didn't work for some
reason :\

If people are waiting for Stargrunt.com to reopen hmm, may have to work on it
some:)

Well for some reason the domain delegation hadn't changed, even though I had
changed it...weird!

Over the next couple of days the new delegation should propogate and people
will reach the right place..

Did you get the other message yet?

Try:

http://stargrunt.netfirms.com/groundzero.html

The original link will work for most people in a couple of days, when the
delegation makes its was through all the name servers... (I thought I'd
changed it but...)
