You are recieving this mail as at one time or another you have expressed an
interest in playing a PBEM game. Well I'm starting
one...

The game is called galaxy G and info can be found at:

        http://www.lochnet.com/49845/rec/games/pbm/galaxyg.htm

It's sort of a Masters of Orion / Civalisation type game, with empires
building ships, developing new tech and exploring and colonising new planets.
The game is computer moderated and so can take a large number of players.

However as I have never even played the game, much less run it, I shall aim to
keep this game quite small (~20 players) and treat it as a test.

If you are interested in playing then please mail me

I will send out startup info as soon as I have 20 players.

Count me in too. I've been working on an Universal Game (PBEM, table Top, and
roleplay)

I'd like to give it a try.

If there are any places left, I would certainly be interested in participating
in your PBeM game.

Appologies to the list for this, but I'll try and keep it short.

Chris (McMurry) - Got your e-mail, but your email address gets
rejected somewhere along the way as an unknown user. I'd be happy to have you
play, but need a valid email address. Get back to me if you know why
your e-mail address may not work.

To anyone else reading this, I can still take another 5 players
for the GalaxyG game. Start-up's will be sent out tomorrow, so those of
you who want to play better hurry.

If your talking about Michael Hodgson's game, yeah it died. About half the
players quit after turn 1 and the rest was divided on whether to continue or
not.

Here is part of a message Mike sent me later on:

Greetings,

I will be starting a number of GalaxyNG games and Standard Galaxy games. So if
you like to play GalaxyNG during the summer read on.

You have a choice from the following games:

Game1 GalaxyNG 5 turns/week small game ~ 10 players
Game2 GalaxyNG 3 turns/week small game ~ 10 players
Game3 GalaxyNG 2 turns/week big game ~ 40 players
Game4 GalaxyNG 2 turns/week small game ~ 10 players
Game5 GalaxyNG 3 turns/week one on one 2 players
Game6 GalaxyNG 1 turn/week medium game ~ 20 players
Game7 Galaxy 2 turns/week medium game ~ 20 players
Game8 Galaxy 1 turn/week medium game ~ 20 players

The game names are just temporarily, they will be changed to more exciting
names as soon as the games start.

I like to accommodate as many players as possible. So if 30 people join
Game1, I will start 3 separate games that run 5 turns/week.

You can join as many times as you like, however I will ensure that do not play
two positions in the same game.

Games will start as soon as there are enough players. If there are not enough
players for a particular game within 3 weeks the game will be canceled, and
you will receive a notification.
