Parasite Fighters

Hello,
   It is clear that the mini-carrier in B5 was used as a gimic to catch
the guard squadron off guard. The use of parasite racks on ships is that they
are cheap, however you cannot maintain the fighters in that manner and the
crew fatigue can be detrimental. Therefore, these kinds of ships could only be
used in a campeign or a specific scenario. Once the fighters have been
launched they are effectively neutralized and would have to be overhauled and
replentished at a base for half their initial value. They should not be used
for general games. Phil P.

Phil, dude, you might want to keep in mind that quite a lot of people on the
list here haven't seen that ep yet, and won't for a while, so you might
consider putting at the *very* least a note in the subject line indicating
spoilers to follow. And possibly add a dozen or four
spoiler-protection lines. Here's an asbestos suit for anyone who nails
you for this oversight.
