Mr.Tuffley,

D'ya think you could get your American distributer (www.geohex.com) to go for
a similar deal?

Understood, I was hoping for perhaps some collaboration between Geohex and the
mothership... No problem. I guess GZG is "hands off" the operations of it's
distributors, which is neat, because it gives dealers no qualms about stocking
the products. Unlike the draconian measures and interferences certain other
gaming companies incur...

I'd like to retract my post it was made out of ignorance: Lazerlight contacted
me and enlightened me as to the simplicity of ordering from GZG directly (with
a credit card) and the issues with VAT, shipping, etc.

After going to the site, running through some prices and "wish-list"
orders there is really no reason to buy from Geo-Hex unless you've
really got a yen to spend more than you need to.

As soon as the wife calms down about the idea of my getting into ANOTHER game,
I'll likely place an order.

I was referring to the specific instances of getting rules and some FT
ships...

I've ordered metal bases for my micro armor and there's some stuff I saw at
GeoHex that I haven't seen elsewhere.

I'll still be shopping around, like the promiscuous little customer I am
*shame*. I guess I just wanted to say that the US people who are into GZG
games shouldn't feel like they need to get thier fix at a "stateside" store. I
did a poor job of communicating that, apparently.

Well, no, that's not always true either. KR has some really neat stuff that
Jon doesn't, and there may be circumstances under which it
is cheaper to buy from KR. For *my example* it was cheaper to buy
from Jon--and in any event, a lot of what I buy is Islamic Fed stuff
which KR doesn't carry.

You like supporting a nice guy? <grin>

Yes, I have ordered from GZG and used the American distributor indirectly (the
local shop as of this month I no longer enter.) Also bought from Eureka. All
around they seem to be very nice gentleman.

Maybe I'll make my next order directly to Geohex as a matter of principle.
Support as many nice people as you can. Don't support Jerks, period.

Gracias,
