Alright, this is what I have so far...
COMPANY HQ SQUAD 1 Commander 2 Troopers
1 Comm/EW Specialist
RECON GROUP Directly under the command of the COMPANY HQ but often attached to
a specific platoon.
3 Teams of two Recon Specialists
COMMAND TRANSPORT 2x APCs 1x C&C Vehicle
2x REcovery/Repair Vehicles
THREE PLATOONS Each platoon includes the following
PLATOON HQ 1x Officer 2x Troopers
1x Comm/EW Specialist
PLATOON TRANSPORT GROUP 1x Command APC 3x APCs
TWO BATTLE SQUADS each having 1x Sergeant 3x Troopers
> COMPANY HQ SQUAD
One of those troopers should probably the senior NCO for the company, yes?
> RECON GROUP
Righto.
> COMMAND TRANSPORT
I'd throw in an ambulance, too. Possibly
cross-attached from the battalion support company,
though - that can be hard to decide.

When you say HW, do you mean tripod mounted cannon and light guided missiles,
or SAWs? Stargrunt 2 mechanics really encourage the use of SAWs, so I'd expect
that a trooper in each
squad would carry one, and let the HW specs carry DFFG/1s or
GMS/Ls or whatever.
What are the stats on your standard PA?
> From experience, I can say that these squads will get butchered, due to
The transport isn't necessary for combat (unless you're using slow PA).
Company HQ = Major, 2 troopers, 1 EW
3 x Platoons of: Platoon HQ = Captain, 2 troopers, 1 EW Recon 1 = 2 x troopers
Squad 1 = 1 Lt, 5 x troopers, 1 SAW Squad 2 = 1 Lt, 5 x troopers, 1 SAW
This give more flexibility, unless your heavy weapons are groundmounts. The
vehicles can be assigned on an "as needed" basis, with their own command
structure.

Well, this is what I'm looking at
HPA-42
Standard Heavy Power Armor Armour Type: Powered Mobility: 10" (D10) Armour:
D12 I was thinking about equipping them with HELs but I understand HELs don't
get that small in the Stargrunt universe. I don't have a copy of the rules
anymore so can't check it. I thought having the weapon integral and losing a
hand would justify a portable heavy weapon.
In the SF3D universe, these things go toe to toe with tanks and win. I'm not
even trying to mirror them exactly.
