This is an issue that will quickly degrade into NOISE (Is Too!!! Is
Not!!!).

This mailing list has a great signal to noise ratio, and I enjoy that.

Fine, then as the originator of this thread (the one and only OT I
started btw) I 'respecfully' request that any of the other 20+ off topic
threads I see every week be stopped also...
