Shameless self promotion! A bounder and a cad, no doubt!

Sir, and it pains me to use such a term in your case, I demand satisfaction!
Struthers and Barton Patent Electric Pellet Pistols at dawn!

Long live Her Imperial Royal Majesty!

Up with Exclamation Points!

My seconds shall call.

Subject: OT: VSF Scenario Contest on TMP -- May I have your vote?

Hello, all,

That's a lot of acronyms in the subject -- translated, it means that The
Miniatures Page is holding a contest for Victorian Science-Fiction
scenarios. Voting has started and ends 2/25 (midnight, I believe).
This is
the first cut to select 5 entries which will then run-off to gain the 3
prizes.

I would first like to draw attention to the contest, which has some really
neat scenario ideas, and specifically I would like to draw attention to that
scenario entitled "Teddy and the Major-General's daughter".

If y'all wouldn't mind moseying by TMP and casting a vote for "Teddy" and up
to 4 other scenarios, I would greatly appreciate it.

FMA, SG or FT rules?

:-)

The last duel that I saw in gaming was several years ago at CanCon. We were
playing a Honor Harrington freeform based around the Battle of Seaford 9 (with
the Bridge Crew simulator running the rest of the
sessions -
one team got a grav-lance equipped vessel, due to their captain
volunteering to prove the system worked; it didn't). They had to dig out some
d6, as even though it was in the character briefings, they hadn't thought a
duel would actually be provoked.

Does it matter, Brendan? I'm universally lousy!

Apologies, Nick; I'm not a member at TMP, and am trying to hold down new
places on the net with my footprint. However, best of luck!

Do people still call it 'Vicky Sci Fi'? I love it; wrong in soooo many
ways...

So, you're soliciting for votes, like a good politician. What's in it for us?
What do we get out of it? How much are you willing to *pay* for these votes?
Who or what is your backing? What are your forums?? What's your position on
[insert topic here]?

Come on, man, expiring minds wanna know...

What's his stance on soap bubbles? Does he intend to lobby on behalf of

FB3? Is he a vector or a cinematic candidate? WHAT, the electorate asks,

is he doing about The GW Question?

I don't get to that part of the site, but my good friend tells me the scenario
placed second. As that's to Chris Palmer's entry, part of the design pair of
G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T., a gentleman of wit and imagination, I can say but one
thing...

WAY TO GO, NICK!

"It's great; I'd already printed the scenerio out and planned on running it
for you guys."

For what I'm about to receive, may I be truly worthy. ;->=

Wow -- I thought that name sounded familiar but I didn't put it
together.

Thanks for everyone who took the time to vote! And thanks to everyone
else for not flaming me for posting off-topic posts! :-)

Hey, I'd be delighted to hear about it if anyone runs the scenario for their
own gaming group.
