G'day,

Its all in the amount you put on.... approximately a tonne/inch thick
for people like Derek who grew up on it and have killed all their taste buds
on lethally hot curries etc, but for the uninitiated and people with taste
buds/brain cells a very light scrapping is much more pleasant
(especially on warm crunchy toast with butter);)
Cheers

Extrapolation of the curve shows that zero would be ideal, yes?

Wow!
Homeopathic Vegemite!
G'day,

No. As any good stats course will teach you, extrapolation is always a
dangerous and misguided practice;)

"always" is clearly overstated, since in this case the extrapolation is right
on the money.

In you humble opinion.... and yes Beast I'll let this die now before you have
to smack my fingers;)

No no. It's a well known scientific fact that vegimate and marmite are both
absolutely dicusting. This from me, who will eat just about anything (being
raised on traditional chinese cuisine gets you some pretty interesting stuff
and having a fatal love of curries that melt through plates). I lived for 6
months in Kiwiland and just the smell of the stuff is foul. I think a love of
any of the mites is a sure sign of mental instability.

Vegimate is not that bad...really. Even my wife, who grew up in Minnesota,
gave vegimate a try when we there last December on our honeymoon. A mate in
Canberra, that would be you Alan, encouraged us to
give it a try. It's not what I'd eat every morning but it's not too bad.

Thereby showing that some people will forgive *anything* if he still calls me
'mate'.
