How many listers are based in the UK, and why aren't we doing something like
GZGEEC over here?

Okay folks, before we get into a "I'm in the UK!" message fest (followed by
the "But I'm not!" fest) would someone please post the link to the Player
Locations page.

(My player locations page is closed. Possibly forever. Maybe. There's a place
to put details on the Unofficial Stargrunt II Web Site though!)

While I applaud the locator page, there must be more than 11 UK gamers

Well, at least, now you know why there isn't a convention like GZG-ECC
in the
UK. If you guys can't get off your butts to e-mail your info to Indy,
it's unlikely you're going to bother actually getting together. <g>

Okay, okay, I'll take that as my cue.:) Been wanting to do it for a couple
months now, but just been too dang busy.

ANNOUNCING THE UNOFFICIAL GZG PLAYER LOCATION PAGE!

[insert annoying commercial music here....or cool music, since we
*are* talking GZG stuff:)]

If you're having troubles looking for players in your area, or are planning on
doing any traveling (like Matt Seidl is doing right now) and would like to try
and hook up with any GZG players for a game or four, OR want to let people
know where to find you for either of the above reasons (NOT so that person
you've been arguing with on the list
about how heavy beam weapons should/should not work can find you to
send the Narn Bat Squad a-visiting!), your resource/repository for this
information is at hand! Simply to go:

I'm inclined to agree if the number of people crowded around the GZG stand at
various UK shows is anything to go by. Unless of course it's always the same
11 people!

Looking at this seriously, I wonder if it isn't to do with the fact that a far
smaller percentage of people in the UK are online than in the US (for a lot of
reasons, having to pay for even local phonecalls being one...). I think we
have a LOT of very keen customers who simply don't have email access, or if
they do it's at work and they cannot spend all day reading mailing lists. Then
again, many may simply not know of the list at all.
I'll try plugging the list a bit in the next few newsletter/updates, and
see if anything comes of it.
