I found a novelty company in Michigan that sells bags of 2" spiders for $2.49
per 144, minimum order of $10.00

s_011.htm

On the following pages are some "painted" spiders and some larger 2.5"
spiders, with similar pricing.

I would think that 500+ bugs would be enough for a standard SG2 game,
although you might need more for DS2.

As long as you're pointing to companies, forgive the parochialism, but the
same deal, except I don't see a minimum order, can be found at a company out
of Omaha, NE, USA. As in my 'backyard'. Not that far from Denver, either.

Course, I've nothing against Michigan...

and put spider in the search.

I know they have a store front in Omaha called Nobbies. Not sure if they're
anywhere else.

If you do buy, mention The_Beast in Lincoln. It won't mean anything to
them, but I'll get a warm feeling for the confusion I've spread...

Is it offensive they've not changed their name to 'Asian Trading Company?'

I get enough of that at work! <VBG>

Due to lack of a sense of humor (Humour for ther UK/Canada/Australia) I
__have__ had people complain I am Anti-Black and Anti-woman... Female...
whatever... at work. I just said that a woman's beauty is not determined by
her skin color, eye shape or the language she speaks. Guess there
were no hyper-sensitive Asian-Pacific Islanders around that day...

But, it's not like my 'color commentary' (See? See?) about management has made
the "General" (Ret.) know me far too well already. I think
that's part of the reason he no longer reads his own e-mail...

LOL!

Gracias,

At 1 " is 100 Yds... BIG spiders! <grin>

I never thought about it in DS 2... Do Bugs have the ability to melee AFVs?
Soldier Bugs only? But then Warriors have nasty Beams they 'fire'
('flash'? Uh, don't go there Beast... 'beam'? - "The bug beams it's
beam..."Nah - shoot?) IIRC from the book. If they are 'fire' beams do
they count as terror weapons against infantry?

Waves of workers with warriors hidden inside the mass and only being seen when
they shoot... Ugly.

So would they be Size 4 for workers and 5 (or Oversized) for warriors? Armor 1
for workers (treat them as vehicles and infantry for assorted weapons?) and
armor 2 for warriors?

The remnants of my mind are whirling...

Drat I accidentally deleted the e-mail about the shop in Denver!

Ditto, unless you mean my reference to Denver. I think Birhan lives near
there. With this old mind, I could be thinking of someone else, or a
previous address... of 20 years ago. ;->=

Uh, I forgot.

I think.

Maybe.

A shop "somewhere"?

*D'oh*

Maybe it was my comment about Nobbies, which is the Omaha storefront(s) for
the Oriental Trading Co. I had hopes they might have outlets elsewhere.
There's a second store in Bellevue (bell-view), but that's just a suburb
of
Omaha. They'd fight the designation, of course. ;->=

Nope, Beast, you are still correct. I'm near Denver, Boulder in fact.
