I know there is still nearly two months to go before the SALUTE show in
London. But I thought I'd get the ball rolling over who's going and sorting
out possible meetings.
I'll be there all day. We could meet up next to the GZG stand. Make it look
nice and busy and stop Jon feeling lonely:)
Oh and of course if anyone from the list is running any games at SALUTE then
even better.

Current plan it that I shall be there as well, (if the trains aren't on
strike, if the tube's working, if...)

I'll be there, but chained to the Brigade stand for most of the day -
feel free to pop down (literally - we're in the dungeons) and say hello.
I'll be there, too -- with only one son this time since the other one
is in Sweden until June or July. We'll be spending some time (and money) at
the GZG stand, as usual, and will cheerfully hang out with
anyone who's there -- after we complete flying raids on a couple of
other traders.
Which reminds me; I must make up a list for Jon...

Well that makes 5 of us so far or should that be 4 1/2?
You didn't say how old/big your attending son was Phil?
And yes Tony I noticed you were down in the depths again. Mind you I'll
probably see you first since your down near the bring & buy stand. Got a
little bit more GW Epic stuff to get rid of! Until that time I will not feel
totally cleansed:)

5. Definitely 5.

Age is irrelevant when he can look down at me -- and I'm above average
height! His brother's even bigger! <g>

Well, for once, GZG may not be my first port of call -- if Tony has
those new SDNs and cruisers ready, that is!

Alternatively, convert them into something; the taint can be removed. Some of
the stuff I'll be getting from GZG this year will be being kitbashed with a GW
model into a kind of big brother for Tony's Jericho
BC -- using Warsaw DDs as engine/weapons pods at the end of the fins,
would you believe? It'll look quite unusual, but I think it'll work.
Now if I only had something that I could use for a Excalibur-style
open-leaved nose...

Depending on which one it is, he could be considerably taller than Phil and
most of the other people at the show!
> And yes Tony I noticed you were down in the depths again.
For that reason it isn't a bad place to be because the B&B brings the crowds
down (assuming that the trader next to us doesn't spread out and completely
block us from view again!).

You need an Epic enema!

The taint is too strong on what I have left. IIRC the bits I have left are a
complete set of 16 open drop pods which I think set me back about £30 nearly
10 years ago. And also a set of 4 stands of Grey Night terminators where you
only got one terminator per sprue and 5 sprues per box. I needed 20
terminators to make the unit! I must be rid of them for they will ever remind
me of how I was duped into buying so much unwanted GW plastic!!!

In spite of the GZG stand being located just inside the Q-buster
entrance? <g> (At least it was on the last floor plan I saw...)
I might be able to go to SALUTE '03, but at the moment I don't know. The
household economy is still a bit shaky after buying the new flat, like
:-/

Thanks. I guess I must be mixing Salute up with Colours...
Hopefully I'll be there. I'll probably be wearing a Delirious Hoody, and be
buying some KV...
See y'all there

Salute for me this year then; hopefully I'll be able to get to Bifrost
instead :-/
Later,
Not sure if my previous message got thro with the list server problems, but
I'll be there along with my 13 year old son and a couple of his friends.
How will we recognise each other? Wear a badge or something?
Cheers, Mike

Sounds like a good idea. I am debating wearing my paintball top, coz I seem to
remeber it being pretty hot in there. If so, I'll be the one in the Blue and
Black JT Flame top. Should be difficult not to recognise

Well I'm sorting out getting a t-shirt printed to exploit my massive ego
and do a bit of advertising;)
I'll put up a picture up so people will spot me. Only doing it because I
wouldn't spot my own mother in a crowd. I have crowd blindness or something:)
I suppose we could agree to meet up at certain times near the GZG stand?
