Suitable wings, fins etc added to some of our other models (Peled, Yafo,
Laskov) would make then ideal partners for the Jericho.

An even BIGGER Jericho... let me think about it...

I'd started to reply to Phil's note, but decided to wait for Tony's reply. My
own feeling is that his first line could apply to the last. After all,
the Ben-Gurion already has a small fin, and you could add more to your
heart's content. Other of the larger ships would handle the add-ons very
well.
For reasons I can't explain, I was less enamored with the DD than the BC,
though a similar reaction on my part to the Jovian Chronicles ship that
also had the dorsal/ventral fin arraignment may explain it.
The Jericho's small fore section, (bridge?, quarters?) seems appropriate for
what is usually implied for battle cruiser, while the other capitals would
seem to be better modelled with blockier, sturdier looks.
Course, I always love new ships, so if you're up to, I'll be looking
forward to a psuedo-Excalibur.
BTW, Tony, your first comment reminds me of a question I also started to ask
earlier: Do you do a 'Wings 'n Things' pack? Just curious, as GZG's would work
admirably to my eye.
WOW! That was almost back on topic! ;->=

Spaceship design is _incredibly_ subjective. Some of the models I make
don't always look quite right to me when they're finished, but assuming that
they're up to quality in terms of finish they will get released on the grounds
that even if I don't like them, someone will. Models I don't like at all
sometimes sell in numbers, others I think are really cool don't shift at ell.
C'est la vie!
If I _really_ don't like the look of a model then it won't get finished
- it'll end up in the bin long before I waste time detailing it.

Don't hold your breath. I have a big backlog of unmade designs of all sorts.

Almost ;-)
We don't do a specific "Wings'n'Things" pack, but all of the individual bits
of all of our models can be bought separately (and we don't charge
a premium for this either - the individual parts of the model add up to
the selling price of the whole thing). At the moment I haven't been able to
get all of this information onto the website, it's a monumental task to get
all of the parts priced up for everything we make so I'm working my way
through slowly at the moment.

Given the extra effort you just mentioned, along with what I assume are
logistic problems, such as mo(u)lds set up for blocks of parts or even
complete figs, along with getting the list put together, both on paper and on
the web site, AFTER you're done pricing, makes 'premium' pricing something I
never quibbled about.
Which, of course, adds nobility to your own work. ;->=

We don't always get 100% of the models in a mould - there is always a
percentage of parts that are rejected as miscasts (or in some cases don't cast
at all). This means that we never have an exact number of
matching sets of parts for multi-part models anyway, so taking out odd
parts if someone wants them doesn't mess up the system (unless they want
a very large number - which has not yet happened).
As far as the website goes, I spent a few lunchtimes writing a web site
generator which automatically produces the three different versions of the
website from text script files. It does things like checking for broken links,
missing files etc, generates the individual product pages, automatically finds
the latest releases for the index page etc. The site
has 900+ html files now, so manual maintenance would be a nightmare.

I thank you (bow).
Shall we let the others have their list back now ? ;-)

Would you care to share, or sell, this nice sounding piece of software?
:)
It's too specific to our site's structure. It would take quite a while to make
it truly generic, at which point I'd start selling for loadsamoney!
