OT: Imperium Map

Hi Guys,

I just got the Traveller Reprint, The Classic Games. In it, they have pictures
of two experimental add on maps for the Twilight expansion which was never
published for the old GDW game Imperium. The early map is the same size as the
Imperium map. The latter map is the size of four Imperium maps, because the
early experiment "did not fully reflect the size of the Imperium"... The
Imperium map can connects to either of the expansions.

I was close to completing a top down 2-d version of the Imperium 3rd
Millennium map, but I'm modifying it so it will fit better with the
expansions...

When I do the expansions, I'm going to have to "interpret" what some of the
marks mean, and slightly modify the maps to fit my 24x36 hex grid. The
expansions were done on a 23x36 hex grid. I use four 12x18 hex sectors for
each map. I was planing on 3rd Millennium"ing" the maps by adding an outpost
to all systems that contain a world.

When I finish them, I will e-mail the list.  Each map will be in high
color, saved in PDF format, and printable on four 11"x 17" sheets of paper.
Sometime next year I hope to do a high color version of the Dark Nebula maps I
did a year or two ago.

Any comments and/or ideas?
Does anyone have more information about the Twilight expansion that was never
done?
