Okay, I'm already readying for the NBS so just send them on and have them do
their worst.
I am getting ready a primer on our various mailing lists, and what do I see in
the latest digest but a bunch of recipes for Piranha bugs (4 if I didn't miss
my count). I also (as part of
my project) ran across Jim Foster's wine-
tasters guide to the FTGZG mailing list.
I think we're getting close to having enough recipes to start a new
suppliment. And, of course (a pun, when relating to meals!), it would have to
conform to the two word naming scheme of the GZG products.... so HotBox (for
an oven) came to mind.
Pirhanna bugs and a good wine.... next thing we know I'll have someone sending
me a recipe for Kra'Vak Stew and Albion Crumpets.

I'll have to ask for some good recipies for boiled wheat for the NRE chapter.
:)

Port, by preference. And it would be more appealing if we called them "piranha
bees" instead of "bugs." As my brother the chef says, "If you're going to
charge someone seven dollars for four ounces of rice, you have to pay
attention to the presentation."

Did you want the stew made *of* Kra'Vak, or *by* Kra'Vak? The former (more of
a gumbo, actually) goes well over rice, while the latter is served with a
hammer (for some of the more difficult bones). Either
way, you wouldn't serve it with Albion crumpets--it's bad form to
serve more than one dish that requires a hammer...

Fermented fish paste, can't recall what they call it. Pistachios with garlic.
Retsina, although that probably crosses into "chemical
weapons". :-)

Retsina... perhaps. But there's a lot of Greek food that isn't revolting.

We can always move right into the realm of the truly inhumane and start
lobbing Kimchee "grenades".
Look out Abdhul! A ham grenade!

Alan, we won't tell the Men In Black that you're here, but would you mind
sending us a sample of whatever your species uses for DNA?

All I can say is my Korean friends claim that a Caucasian can't physically
remain within 200 yds of a just opened "fresh" Kimchee pot. And I've never
disproved it. Of course, I can't stay in the house when my Irish friends make
boiled cabbage, so it might just be me. :-)
G'day

Boiling fresh beetroot is FAR worse than either, UCK!

Guess we Australians count as Asians then.
