Subject: [OT] Free webspace?

Hi all,

This is OT (matches a lot of the current threads, doesn't it?) but I'm
looking to move my large website - my current free provider
(Freeservers)
is screwing with their free clients - they've cut off FTP, cut our
webspace down, etc...

So - can someone recommend a decent freespace service? I'd need/like:

- NO POPUPS! ... banners are OK, but no
popups...
- FTP is essential too.
- PHP support would be really nice. It would make maintaining my large
site a lot easier...
- 10+ Mg of space; my site is currently 8-9Mg and I've got expansion
plans...

Anyone have any suggestions? I've done a bit of searching around, but no luck
so far.

My current site (embarrasingly out of date...) is at
http://warbard.iwarp.com/games.html

Thanks,

I don't want to shock too many people, but you can get very good web support
with all the trimmings for like $25 a month now... Figure it out in terms of
how many cans of (insert your favorite drinnk here) that comes to a month and
it really isn't much... I use www.acceleration.net, which is (IMHO) excellent,
and I know they have multiple access networks and redundant servers for very
high reliability. In my experience, also very nice people.

powweb.com
I just set up a client with them, $7.00/month it worked out to about
$200 for two years...Front page extensions, ftp, the works...We'll see how
reliable they are. tablegamer.com is on pair networks (pair.com) and so far I
have no problems with them (I only have ftp access tho
$4.95/month, I think frontpage ext. and cgi etc is about $15)

(USD for those who care)

I thought the request was asking about free webspace. I for one am not
interested in space you have to pay for.
