There's a preview for a new starship simulator game called Vanguard at ATFW:

I bring it up because the artwork of the ships looks very cool (especially the
Warrior class dreadnought and the Defender class
carrier), and I know I wouldn't mind seeing some "Not-Vanguard" minis in
the future (hint, hint, Jon). Anyone else?

Cool pics! The Tyrant resembles the French frigate Yfres?(I think) from
Traveller:2300. Some of the others borrow ideas from Star Destroyers. The
Warrior does look cool.

I checked out the site and I must say I am very impressed by the designs. Let
us just say that should such ships appear in mini, they would be high on my
list. And as far as making them "Not Vanguard" perhaps they might sneak in,
say as...oooohh..Japanese Corp ships, as they have that psuedo Yamato
look to them with a bit of a techo-update.

myself and some of the ships shown there DO somewhat resemble the sort of
thing I already had in mind for the forthcoming Jap ships....
