Subject: [OT?] Brigade Models and DLD
*** ps - although Brigade can't claim the hat-trick of SFSFW awards that Jon deservedly won, we did manage one of our own - 'Best Commercial Website' :-). We ran GZG a reasonably close second in the 'Under 20mm SF Manufacturer' category as well. *** Certainly worthy of congratulations; 15mm and micro armor et al are combined? Makes even second very sweet! And, the list agrees that you have a well laid-out site, and only wish more manufacturers had as complete a set of images for their wares... *ahem* ;->= As for the 'An Outpost Too Far?' report, really well done; some of the other titles and images made me wish they had done as well. Blood, Guts 'n' Gore in Space whetted my appetite for more info. Also, the vacc-heads are grateful for the sight of that spaceship. Woof! *** Didn't think the "BFG Blanks" would go over well on a "GZG list", don'tcha know. :-o Yeah...the Eagle is a bit "cartoonish", but hey, it works. Besides, don't like it? Don't use it. *** Are you kidding? I LOVE 'em. Cartoony? Try a well-painted Dictator from the Space Fleet days. ;->= I'm likely to swap the prows with real GW ships, just to add to the confusion and amusement. However, you're correct; the freighters are MUCH more on topic. I knew those would be the first thing most people would see, and only realized I hadn't mentioned them after I'd already hit 'send'. I see why you pulled the first transports; the new ones are a vast improvement. I'm hoping the 'Example Pics Coming Soon' will include unpainted/unassembled views. With mix-and-match parts, it's nice to see the whole layout at one shot, similar to the Orbital Repair Dock foresection you show on the first page. I admit, I'm greedy. ;->= The_Beast
