Speaking of the demise of FASA.... I have a pair of Battlemechs that I need to
get identified, and I figure that somoene here must know what they are. I have
scanned them, and the pictures are at:
The one on the right is a Battlemaster, a 85-90 ton light Assault mech.
I always like them, kind of mobile for an assault mech, use it like a heavy
mech not like Atlas. The other one I have a clue.

The one on the right is the Battlemaster one of my fav mechs. The other one I
have it a clue. I am going to miss FASA ICE TSR etc etc etc. Rick

You don't recognise one of the oldest 'mechs in the game? Battlemaster, of
course. I didn't recognise the Annihilator, but I never played past 3050
anyway.
I'm about to try and restart my Battletech PBeM again towards the end of this
week. If there are any other listees interested, contact me privately by
Friday.

The one on the right is a Battlemaster (dropped by FASA over copywrite
problems). This is one of the original Batlemechs. It was listed in the first
mech recognition book, 3025 (original), and an upgraded version in the next
book, 3050 (original), both removed under lawsuit.
The one on the left is an Annihilator. It was in either the 3050 or 3055 book.

Thanks to all who responded and identified them as an Annihilator and a
Battlemaster. I have a copy of the old boxed version of the game somwhere, but
I have no idea where...and the Annihilator wouldn't have been in it anyway.
Now to get them primed so I can start painting....
