However, even scarier is that compared to most American fast food, McDonalds
(with some horrible exceptions) actually frequently has (relatively) lower fat
then most of the others...

That's because in the US McDonalds competes with the dog food companies for
the dairy cows that have become to old to produce milk. The nastiest beef
imaginable.
