IIRC, that's "Taelon" (from E-FC)
***

Well, Jon, that's phonetically closer, but my pc doesn't have the proper
script to REALLY do it right. ;->=

If we aren't careful, this will devolve back into that discussion of
sci-fi
writers who create alien names just by weird spelling, like Fiil and
Phred...

And how about those really weird folks that spell Jon with an H in the middle!

Yes, but the original reference was Talyn from Farscape
http://www.scifi.com/farscape/lifeform/

Not Taelon from Earth Final Conflict http://www.earth.finalconflict.com/

And does anyone have any ideas for full thrust representation of a ship that
is a cross between a bioship and a peace keeper warship? I am holding off on
building this one until I get my hands on a FB2. The two copies that came into
my local hobby store lasted a entire 3 seconds.

Somehow I get a feeling that us Jons (my first name is Jon, but I
usually only use my second :-) will be rather outnumbered in such a
contest... let's hope our quality beats the Johns' quantity ;-)

I have a vague memory of a 1960's comic book hero called the "Martian
Manhunter" who's name was something like "Jhon Jhonns"
***
Alter Ego: J'onn J'onzz (beetled browed alter ego), John Jones (human alter
ego), his true name is beautiful but almost unpronounceable, Marco Xavier (an
identity he used for a period after he retired from the police force), a
number of other secret identities that he maintains across the world including
Johann Johnson (Metropolis taxi cab driver).
***

I knew Jhon didn't look right, but I had to do a search to get it cleared
up. Hmm....

The Martian name has no h and TWO n's! Does this mean all Jon's are half
Martian???

Inquiring minds want to know!

By the way, I went to Jr.High at Ralph M. Marrs, so I'm a certifiable
Marrtian... ;->=

No, Brendan, that didn't deserve a Bat Squad visit. More like a peppering
from a squad of Boy Scouts with cheap bows and suction-tipped arrows.
