I got some Sa'Vasku minis yesterday through the post (well done Jon:)) and
1) Very nIce. They don't go on the same fleet arrangement as the rest so there
are no REALLY big multiparts (as yet) but they look cool.
2) A couple of them don't have holes to mount them on stands. A small point
but..
ANYWAY.. those of you that have seen them will know they bear a passing
resemblance to the ships of a certain set of spider -like bad guys in a
well known TV drama, but in Fulll Thrust terms I have a question..
Which way do they fly? Spines forward or spines back? Thinking about it, with
the Sa'Vasku, does it matter?
Also, Jon, have you considered putting little pics of the big multiparts in
with the models. I had to go to the GeoHex web page before I could figure out
how my Kra'Vak carriet fits together..

As to the orientation of the miniatures, I believe the Sa'Vasku have adopted a
"don't ask, don't tell" policy.;)

Thanks! The big ones are coming.... (ooer!)

Sorry. The sculptor will be severely beaten....:) Rumours that we have shares
in Minicraft or Black & Decker are untrue....

We use 'em spines-backwards, but it really doesn't matter.

Our new catalogue has photos of all the ships (almost), including the big KV
chaps; yes, instruction sheets are something we want to include soon, if Dave
ever finds the time to do the art for them!

I looked in a catalogue produced here in Australia, and then at the GeoHex
pictures... and they are different! "Bother", said Pooh. So I said bugger it,
and put them together how I felt like.
I am still looking for a Kra'Vak space station... what say you, Jon?

I hope there are rules for better point defense for Kra'Vak then.
Otherwise, just standback and missile and/or nova cannon them to-death.
Its the only thing that the Kra'Vak don't do _better_ than humans.

So these will have the appearence of the Savasku picture in MT, then?

Well, I was mainly referring to the style of the model rather than the
weaponry. I use Kra'Vak models cause they look cool but I use human ship
designs cause the Kra'Vak designs aren't nice :-)

And I still can't. Apart from anything else the GeoHex pics and the GZG
Catalogue actually have the model assembeled differently (?!) and I simply
can't figure out how two bits are supposed to fit with the main body.
If anyone has managed to successfully assemble a Ko'San class strike carrier,
I'd be obliged if they can get in touch. Might also be a thought for people
who get these things put together to write a bit of fitting instructions which
could then put them on the GZG catalogue web page.

No, sorry; the ones in MT were designed by a guy who was going to produce them
at the time, but then changed his mind and has never done anything with them:(
They will, probably, never go into production. The big "new" Sa'Vasku will be
heavier versions of the ones we are currently producing, ie: spiky spider
things...

Most Sa'Vasku point systems seem to be around 30 or 40 per power factor and 5
per MASS.
Mike Smit had a formula, but I forget the details.
