A counter proposal is to change the FT ring to the:
GZG ring
That would fit FT, DS2, SG2 and FMA. And possibly the -Pedia.

Making a GZG ring may start looking like a big advert rather than a hobbyist SIG. Its also some hassle to change it all, if it isn't broken don't mess with it.
