What's the curent thinking in converting Ogre minis to DSII?

Are there any web pages where folks have some stuff up?

Also, it seems as if FT and SG are the main games discussed here. Is DS the
poor relative of the trio? Do fewer people play it? Is it just not as wildly
popular as the other two?

It does seem to be less popular than the other games; at both GZG-ECC
cons, SGII and FT were much more common then DSII games.

Personally, I don't have time to pursue all three games, so I concentrate
on FT, 'my first love.' (8-) FT is where most of miniature dollars are

concentrated; my DSII collection is a bunch of FASA RL/TOG 'Plastic
Death', some converted walkers picked up from hither and yon, some Epic
minatures, and some really stupid looking scratch build 'Bolos' I made when I
was first experimenting with Sculpy.

My SGII collection consists of three squads of New Israel troops, and a whole
bunch of WH40k miniatures I got before I saw the light. (8-)

Our resident US combat engineer is in Europe at the moment. If you want to
spark some DSII email/flames, suggest something like, French infantry
are
better than US combat engineers. ^_^

Ok, I'd say a fair amount of discussion has come from DSII.

If anything, over the course of my time on the list, I'd have said that SGII
was the least discussed, but that varies from time to time rather wildly.
There have been periods when my beloved FTII seemed the orphan,
even though the list had been FTGZG-L!

There have been, at various times, calls for splitting discussion of one or
another game into it's own list. I think the consensus has ended up being that
the various discussions compliment each other, and tend to keep the momentum
of the list going when one or another has a lull.

I will say that my admittedly limited experience is that FTII has a large con
exposure, DSII somewhat less, and generally SGII is seldom seen. Comments?

It's fans are quite vocal here; is this just an example of the parochialism of
my experience?
