"Official" weapons systems / fighters

It has been mentioned in the Fleet Book that certain weapons are not part of
the official universe and simply included for use with other
backgrounds.  The question is, which weapons _are_ part of the GZG
universe?

Of course everything found in the Fleet Book designs is easy, but how about
the others? Specifically, do any ships in the fT universe use needle beams,
missiles (seeking types from MT) or any of the other weapons I may have
forgotten?

What about fighters? There are miniatures for fighters, interceptors and heavy
fighters. Are the other types not used, or are they just not specifically
represented in miniature?

I'm just wondering, as I start to think of 'concept ships' and other designs,
what kind of guidelines to use.
