Subject: [OFFICIAL] JUNE SALE, plus new stuff.....!

Hi all,

A big JUNE SPECIAL OFFER and some news of new releases....

------------------------------

JUNE SALE:

Special discount offers to run until Monday 30th June (the offers will be
taken down from the site sometime on 30th, UK time, so don't leave it till the
last minute!)

This time, we're doing a nice, simple overall discount offer - this
applies to EVERYTHING that we sell, miniatures, books, even the
already-discounted
regular special offer packs!

Total order value at regular retail prices:

25 UKP or more, up to 75 UKP: 10% DISCOUNT off total order value. Over 75 UKP,
up to 150 UKP: 20% DISCOUNT off total order value. Over 150 UKP: 30% DISCOUNT
off total order value.

To take advantage of these special discounts, you MUST mention "June Sale" in
the "comments" box in the online order form, or ask for the discount if
ordering by post or phone. The prices shown by the online store checkout will
be the full retail prices, we will then apply the relevant discount for you
when we process your order.
Postage/packing will be charged at usual rates.

We won't be doing another discount offer of this size for a while - so
take advantage of it NOW, and get all the stuff you need for those long summer
evenings of modelling and painting!

-------------------------------

NEWS ITEM: For UK customers who may have been planning to attend the
"FIASCO" show in Leeds on 21st of June - please note this show has been
CANCELLED by the organisers due to problems with the venue (a
double-booking, we understand).

We're sorry we won't get to see you all there, but we WILL be attending Fiasco
II at the Royal Armouries in October, which is unaffected by the cancellation
of Fiasco I.

NEW RELEASES!!

UNDER LICENCE FROM EUREKA MINIATURES:
Multi-part "SWAT" team figures in 28mm!
Each figure consists of three parts - legs, torso and head (plus a
slot-base) which can be "mixed-and-matched" to produce a huge range of
different figure variants and pose variations. All figures are in flak
vests and carry present-day weaponry - great for modern urban scenarios
and
near-future games.
There are two ways of buying the SWAT figures - an assortment of parts
to our choice, which saves you money, or by choosing individual parts.

SWAT HEADS: H1 Baseball cap H2 Baseball cap, backwards
H3 Baseball cap + goggles
H4 Balaclava
H5 Balaclava + gas mask
H6 Kevlar helmet ("Fritz" style)
H7 Helmet + balaclava
H8 Helmet + goggles
H9 Helmet + goggles (raised)
H10 Helmet with cover
H11 Helmet with cover + goggles

SWAT BODIES: B1 Firing HK MP5 B2 HK MP5 at ready B3 With sledgehammer B4
Shotgun at ready B5 Firing pistol

SWAT LEGS: LS Standing legs LA Advancing legs (3 random variants) LK Kneeling
legs

ORDERING THE SWAT FIGURES: Please follow the instructions here if you wish to
order by post or by
phone - if you are ordering from our online store, then use the
pull-down
menus to choose your options.

If you want to order a specific combination of parts to make a particular
figure, each full set of 1 head, 1 body and 1 leg part (plus a base) costs
£1.25. To order, specify the parts like this example:
"SWAT H5-B2-LA" - this will get you a figure with a balaclava and
gasmask, carrying an HK MP5 and in an advancing pose, and will cost you
£1.25. If you'd rather let us choose a mix of parts for you, then the price
goes
down to £1.00 per figure - these are sold in packs of THREE figures at
£3.00 per pack, and you can still choose the HEAD type - but we then
put in bodies and legs at random. Order as "SWAT PACK" plus the head type you
want; for example,
"SWAT PACK-H8" will get you three randomly-armed figures in helmets with
goggles for £3.00.

Jon, did Eureka change the way the SWAT legs looked? I bought a few from
Eureka last year, and didn't notice until I put them together that the legs
aren't bloused. Instead, the trousers are straight down to the top of the
foot. They really ought to be bloused. Any chance Eureka or you have bloused
"leg" parts for the SWAT guys, or will have bloused trousers in the future?

You'll have to talk to Nic at Eureka about this, Allan - we've just cast
them up as they supplied them to us, and yes, they've all got straight leg
trousers. They might be prepared to make alternative leg parts if you point
this out
to them..... ;-)

I can resist... but only because I'm poor. *L* There are GZG figures I need,
but I can't afford to spend that kind of money right now. Hopefully by the
next sale... *sigh*
