UPDATE - MONDAY 25th April 2016:
THE FULL THRUST BOXED GAME IS AVAILABLE NOW!
The ENGLISH version of the FT game box, which we were selling at SALUTE
last weekend, is now up on the store - click the link in the main menu
at the left of the store homepage!
At the moment we only have a VERY LIMITED NUMBER of the sets - once
these are gone there may be a bit of a delay before we have more available, so
if you want one then get it now!
SALUTE went off very well, especially considering the problems of getting
ready for it while still being ill.... despite feeling rough I had a great
day, and since getting back I've managed to get the mailorder situation under
control and almost completely up to date, so most new orders should now start
going out much faster than over the last couple of months. After everything
that has happened since the New Year, I'm pretty much starting 2016 again from
here on, with things being back to normal!
The new figure releases we had out for SALUTE (the long-awaited
Moongrunt packs and Xar heavy weapons) will go up on the store in the next few
days, so watch out for them finally being available to
mail-order.

As long as the webstore shows them as available to order, then we still
have stock, Michael - just don't leave it too long - I have a couple of
dozen but I really don't know how fast they will go. I can't reserve copies
without an actual order and payment, but they are up on the store now so you
can place your order whenever you are ready.

I missed the discussion in this. Are the rules in the boxed set any different
than those already published?

They are not significantly different - some minor tweaks, but mainly a
tidied-up, graphically attractive presentation of the core rules of the
game, as relevant to the two fleets supplied in the box.
They will form the core of an expanded new "full" rulebook a little way down
the roadâ¦.

I was out sick Monday, and missed this announcement/thread as well. The
rule set is based on the German re-write or the Project Continuum? I've
thought I saw some significant differences.
Also, you may have thought you had issues '...over the last couple of months,'
but I still am seeing TMP posts by folks amazed at how quickly you've been
sending. You keep doing the false modesty, and people will start assuming all
they have to do is 'think an order...'

Iâve thought I saw some significant differences.
It's MY re-write (or more accurately, a tidy-up with a few tweaks) in
collaboration with the guys at Mechworld, an expanded version of the Full
Thrust Light rules to suit the forces in the starter game box.
Continuum and the various other fan-projects have all taken my original
published material and then headed off in their own various directions with
it, while the progression from FT Light through FT Starter (the game box
rules) and then to a future "FT new full edition" is basically
still my vision of the game - the original rules brought up to date,
tweaked and amended where necessary, but if something doesn't NEED
fixing then we're leaving it aloneâ¦.. ;-)

Well, SOME orders have still been going out quickly as usual, mainly if
they are simple ones where everything is in stock - the ones that have
been delayed a bit are those where I've had to cast thingsâ¦. But I'm glad
that my delivery reputation has survived the difficult
period reasonably intact! ;-)
As far as I'm concerned, I'm starting 2016 again from here on, and trying to
forget about most of the last four monthsâ¦..
