I've just put another rather important news post up on the store, please go

Thanks to all my friends and customers for your patience and
understandingâÃÂæ..
Roughly two years ago, my mother passed. I pretty much fell apart, and my
sister did most of the duty. She hates me to this day.
So, yes, some of us do understand.
Go, be amazing, I'll check TMP and LAF.

Thanks Michael, and to Don for your message as well, plus those who have
contacted me off-list. It's all very much appreciated.
Best regards,

Don't worry, Doug, I can still find a few moments here and there to check list
and personal emails and even respond to some of them! A lot
of what I have to do is by phone and/or online anyway, so I'm here in
the office with the computer in front of meâÃÂæ.. ;-)

things in your case, like mine, are progressing as well as can be hoped for.

Well, you need to place it firstâÃÂæâÃÂæ ;-)
Reminds me of the joke about the guy who prayed one Sunday in Church for
God to help him win the lottery - he didn't win, of course, so next
Sunday he prayed harder still, and so on for several weeks - in the end,
he's getting angry and the next Sunday he cries "God, I've asked you for weeks
now to make sure I win the lottery, why haven't you answered my
prayers???"
This time, God's voice booms down to him: "At least meet me halfway, and BUY A
TICKETâÃÂæ.."
:-)
Eight replies so far on The Miniatures Page, all of sympathy, sprinkled here
and there with 'Family first.' and 'Toys can wait indeed.'
I thought I told you to hush. Oh, NOW you're going to say this is all
therapeutic.
Just wait til you get our bills! ;->=

I'm another sympathiser, Jon, though in my case it happened almost 40
years ago. I was at work (first full-time job) when I got a phone call
sayong that my mother had died. I had to go tell my boss, who was in a meeting
with several other people, what had happened and that I was leaving to go to
the hospital. My dad had died the year before, so I was
sort of used to it, if that isn't a bizarrely black-humourish way to put
it. Anyway, like many others here and elsewhere, I understand what it's like
as much as anyone can, and would send whatever good vibes your way in support
if I knew how to do it <g>. You do what you need to do, and we'll look forward
to your return. Life goes on, as will you once all the immediate hassle is
past.
Take care,
Phil

Best,
Just wanted to point out the post I made on TMP, and the twenty-five
responses, all of support.
http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=412260
You'll notice further down, I've said I relayed to you their 'best wishes' and
understanding of delays.
Thank you Doug, very good of you to post that and to keep me informed!
Everyone is being very understanding, which is great - it certainly
makes things easier. Once the funeral (Tuesday) is over and done, things can
start to get back to normal here.
All the best to everyone,
