Get some thin wire, drill a single hole on three of them, and drill three
equidistant holes on a fourth. Attach the cd's with a single
hole to the one with three holes, and you have a shiny and hi-tech
mobile...

They could be used as wormhole / warpgate points for FT.  As a wormhole,
one could be put on the board and moved in a random direction and a random
direction each turn.

Hey, I like this idea!

And you know, we could use it to model the rings around a planet, too. Just
cut the planet model in half, and glue it back together with the CD sandwiched
between the halves.
