This was against the rules, it would count as a forward pass, hence not
allowed. Even if he threw it from a line out then if he could then he could
throw it the width of the pitch just as long he threw it straight otherwise it
would be foul.

I have no personal knowledge of rugby rules; as such, it could be that I'm
remembering the story wrong, or the person who told me (not the American in
the story, IIRC) had the details wrong as well.
To make this topical: If SG2 competes with 40k, and DS2 competes with Epic,
and FT competes with
(the never released) _Battlefleet Gothic_, then when is the GZG version
of
_Blood Bowl_ coming out?

There is a fantasy football game in the GZG catalogue, I have no idea if
that's American football or rest of the world football (soccer for the
Americans).

IIRC, "Space Fleet" was "Battlefleet Gothic Light" - ie, BC was a
working name for what SF should've been (and was, once you'd bought all the
relevant White Dwarfs).

Another option is Full Steam, otherwise I vote for Full Speed. I'm hoping to
give this a try later in the weekend. I'm digging out my Russo-Japanese
war figures anyway, as I bought some more at GenCon.

Actually Full Steam would be a better name for the WWI/Pre-Dreadnaught
modifications.

What are the traditional markings on the classic ship control? All Ahead Full,
All Ahead Half, that sort of thing? I'd go with All Ahead Full.
