Hello, TNT seems to be playing around with the play times for B5 recently. I
tried to watch it Saturday at 4 pm (PST) as was listed in the local tv guide
but there was a really bad western on (I like westerns, but not this dog...)
instead. Does anyone know what the alternative play times are for B5 on TNT
for the new episodes? Anyone know of a web site that lists them? Thank you,
Phil P.

Hi there!

I don't know about that particular day with the western but TNT will be put B5
on hiatus while they play basketball and will resume the shows after that. Our
local station here in Toronto will have the same hiatus starting after this
Sunday's episode.

They've been moved to saturday morning (well, at least out East here they now
play the new eps at 11am). I caught a post from jms last week mentioning this;
you might find it also on the Lurker's Guide.

G'Quan wrote in with this tidbit about the success of "Babylon 5" since its
move to TNT. Thought it might be of interest.

"Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. just released the ratings for the period. In
the CABLE market, TNT dominated the top five spots with
WRESTLING getting the top 4 and B5 getting # 5 - with a high share of
about 10 mil + viewers."

"TNT is looking at this as a proof of the B5 universe,s potential, MAY move
ahead to extend the offer for "Crusade" BEYOND its current 22
episode commitment - and is now *talking about* a full five year deal.
Look for the trend of movie offers to continue, and don,t be surprised if the
deal for a big pic does eventually turn out to be true.

"Also - TNT is now thinking of a secondary weekend airing of B5 - just
as "Lois and Clark" does."
