Just to remind everyone that I'm off to the US for ECC7, flying out
tomorrow (barring flight cancellations!!) - I won't be back till next
Wednesday. In that time the email won't be checked, so I'll come back
to a huge backlog - so if anyone needs to email me directly, please
hold off till the later part of next week - that way it stands less
chance of getting lost in the mass of mail! ;-)
The workshop will still be open in my absence (Paul will be in casting stuff),
but online orders won't be dealt with until I get back, so please allow an
extra few days on the delivery time.
All the best,

Why am I reminded of the Stainless Steel Rat's arrival at Cliaand spaceport?
"What is in this locked case?" (SSRR)
"Ten dozen Ghazi-class fighters" might not be the best reply.

Any phrase involving 'heavy weapons' is right out, too.
Bloody heck; somebody will HAVE to be receiving e-mails there, and will
be able to pass on best wishes. Be sure to give that other dirty 'ol man a big
hug and a kiss for moi.
A nice and wet one.

Leaving now. See Y'uns there.
Best Regards,
So, while they're all at ECC. What mischief can we stir up?
...or FT3, or even FMA-Skrimish.

Dunno...
I suppose we could discuss Bugs Don't Surf.

The point is, I've already been hearing about FB III, which is almost sounding
like FT III.
On the other hand, how long have some people been waiting on BDS? Can you not
see the diabolical quality of my simple statement? Do you not see the plasma
rifle hit team forming up?
Been there, done that.

Makes me wonder what Allen is working on.

Just wondering, have you looked into historical gaming in the area? All you

Who's going to post the "Quotes"?

How about Lego!?
The new AT-AT walker mini Lego sets look just about in scale for the
DSII minis.

Oh reeeeally? Seen the Lego Star Destroyer?
It's a beauty, and a massive hunk of plastic to boot. We're talking the Lego
equivalent of a garage kit here...

I will. Once I've gotten a little sleep and have a little time to transcribe

Needless to say, there are some excellent ones in there. Including one about
Tomb's soul being traded for a nuke...

FWIW, I took a week to glue lego pod racers together for the pod racing
game......
Remind me not to do that again. :-)

There's a group out of Jackson, MS, which is about 2 hours away, that play
historicals. There's also a group in Shreveport, but they are mostly GW. Ty
Beard and his gang of historical players are out in Tyler, TX, which is just
over 2 hours away. I was hoping to find something closer. What I need to do is
post something in the local comic store, and see what happens. Monroe is a
college town, after all.
On the other hand, I have a couple of guys who come by once a month for
a _Delta Green_ campaign. It's not miniatures (it's roleplaying) but
it's a lot of fun nonetheless.

Ok, this is both a case of do what I say, not what I do, and the last time
I'll try lame suggestions from afar, but it seems to me a game with someone
in a semi-public place would be a start. It sounds like you're having
trouble getting that first player, though.
However, a small game in a food court or gathering area, particularly in a
student union, would be the perfect place to lure the unsuspecting.

With the several times I've seen RPG notices up that seemed unanswered at the
shop, I'd say you should feel some solace.
