Hello Everybody
I am new to the list and would like to say hello to all participants
I have been wargaming for longer than I care to remember, but I have only
recently discovered GZG games, which, I think are very nice for SF (or modern)
gaming.
I also like all the activity in designing the Tuffleyverse that's there on the
web.
If the rest of my life permits, I would be interested in developing the LIRA
('Liga de las Repùblicas Americanas', LLAR to the gringos ;-), about
which I have found only bare bones on the web. Anybody else interested?
By the way, as a native speaker of German, I can offer support to those
interested in the 'Neu-Schwaben-Bund' (NSL) with spelling, plausibility
checks, even if that is not my prime area of interest.
I also would like to develop some FT sihps based on German SF books/TV,
but I really don't know when it will come to that.
Greetings

So real is defined as adult men(please excuse my grouping Beth and any other
lurker females) who play with small pieces of painted plastic and metal for no
definable purpose?

Bitte. I've already done the OU and IC, but anyone who's willing to spend
the time and effort to come up with some ideas for the LLAR/LIRA is more
than welcome here!
All we need now is someone to do the Pan-Africans, and we'll have all
the major players covered.

Perhaps some of the Perry Rhodan ships made by Revell GmbH? I saw them in a
catalogue a few years ago, but haven't seen them since. Are they available in
Deutschland?

I'm working on PAU, at a speed which can be favorably compared to continental
drift.

Go back and examine that great socio-philosophical opus,
"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", wherein the personnification of Wisdom
(.i.e., Mr.Wonka) expresses his purpose: "We are the dreamers of dreams!"
(in addition, if you play with no definable purpose, you'll probably lose.
Strategy should drive tactics).

Sounds reasonable enough to me....
