New Weapon for SG2

Your laser electron beam sounds like the arcthrower that Timothy Zahn had his
Cobra's equipped with for destroying electronics. Short range, but lethal to
electrical systems.

I believe that 2300 used a laser to ionize a cavity through the air for plasma
guns. Seemed a good idea.

As for the crack, I've heard it from some lasers in the physics lab at the
Uni. Maybe all lasers don't do this, but some do.
