Some while ago a B5 episode (name escapes me) featured a new race. Pointy
helmets (reminded me of ants! dont know why!!) attacking the B5 station, the
ships this race had reminded me of those painted by Rodney Matthews

in 'search of forever'. IMHO these ships are fantastic and VERY different;
unfortunatly I fogot to set the video so can't see the ships again! Can
someone confirm their shape? and then get Jon T to make them. I think they
should represent PAU ships.

It was "A View from the Gallery" an early Season 5 episode. The one with Bo
and Mac the tow maintenance men. I don't think the attacking aliens were ever
named.

I believe this is from the season 5 episode "A view from the Gallery". This
was an unnamed mystery race bent on destroying B5 and the whole show was
looking at the battle from the point of view of two "ordinary joe" workers.
The battle lasted the whole show until the cavalry arrived.

p.s. the season 5 opening credit sequence has a quick shot of them being
chased alongside the station.

A View from teh Gallery. Episode number 505. I can't believe I know this off
the top of my head.

I can...Bit of a B5 fanatic.

Its an awful pity they didn't just focus on the battle. That was an awful lot
of fx to waste on a throwaway episode. I didn't think it worked. I managed to
see the B5 prequel film in Belfast a couple of months ago. There were a hell
of a lot more Earth force ships involved than I remember. Does anyone have an
idea of how we might simulate this little battle? It could really lend itself
to a multiplayer PBEM game. Different commanders in different sectors. Jon (T)
did you ever come up with any scenarios for this using EFSB rules?

Ahh, THAT one. It aired a few weeks back over here (think we're up to 512 or
thereabouts now, "Tragedy of Telepaths" was last week's episode (Yay, they
smegged the intensely annoying Byron at last!! Ok, he smegged himself,
picky, picky....)
Right, I'll have to look out the tape and have a better look at the ships!
Thinking back, yes, they were quite nice......

I don't remember the alien name. The episode was one of the early season 5
eps, the title was "A View From The Gallery". I hardly noticed the aliens, I
was too busy laughing my head off at the two maintenance men that were the
stars that week.

I don't recall what the ships looked like, but the pointy-headed troops
looked a lot like GW Eldar as I recall.... except that they carried
realistically sized weapons, and were the same scale as the rest of the Bab5
cast.;)

Hah, hah! I never really thought about them like that! I saw them as being a
lot like something out of an old Flash Gordon episode. Those helmets were
stoopid.
