Several psuedoubermensch might work for you, but I take no responsibility for
dramatic quality. Prototype X29A and Digital Man are two that I can remember
names, several
others only vague recollections. Terminator-style relentlessness, often
with 'bad' government, is the main theme.

b) ship -to -ship
c) wet navy battles that could transpose to space

*I* want to hear more of these.

It would take some hunting for the correct episodes, but Babylon 5 had some
great space battles between large capital ships and fighters.
