Several psuedoubermensch might work for you, but I take no responsibility for
dramatic quality. Prototype X29A and Digital Man are two that I can remember
names, several
others only vague recollections. Terminator-style relentlessness, often
with 'bad' government, is the main theme.

c) wet navy battles that could transpose to space
